About Susie Kimble
In February 2026, I was honored to be appointed by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to serve as your Doña Ana County Commissioner for District 3. As an Independent, I believe people should always come before politics and my appointment reflects my lifelong commitment to community leadership, public service, and improving the quality of life for local families. It is my responsibility to evaluate every issue on its merits, work collaboratively with others, and make decisions based on what's best for the residents of District 3—not partisan agendas.
Since taking office, I have worked to be an accessible, responsive voice for our community. Drawing on my experience in healthcare, behavioral health, and community service, I have focused on responsible fiscal oversight, supporting public safety, strengthening essential county services, and addressing the opportunities and challenges that come with our region's continued growth. I believe listening is the foundation of good leadership, and I am committed to bringing people together to find practical solutions to the issues that matter most.
I remain dedicated to serving every resident of District 3 with integrity, transparency, and common sense. Whether advocating for families, working for economic development, improving county services, or ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent wisely, my goal is always the same: to deliver results through collaboration, accountability, and thoughtful leadership.
